ask wattbot, type "message the team" and ask there. Replies not instant a day or 2 + bank holiday.
Updating the meter database can take weeks.
You should continue to submit new readings in the app as usual, (it'll probably say too high or low, but if you can continue submit anyway.)
I don't understand, are you saying the original meter was only reading a third of what the new one is reading for the same actual use? You are reading the meter not the in-home display?
Did your previous use look sensible (emergency aside) and are you sure you're reading the new one correctly?
If you're absolutely sure you are reading it correctly find a 2 kw heater, switch everything else off, measure the consumption and do a timed test (you could use the kettle, but a heater on full is better).
