Hi, if you don't submit meter readings every month, then PP will estimate your readings for you.
However, this may lead to PP underestimating or overestimating your usage.
PP reviews accounts every 6 months to see if DDs need to be adjusted.
So , for example, if PP is estimating your usage too high, then that could lead to possibly an increase to your DD.or decrease , if underestimating (but then you will end up with a massive debit in the end)
That said., if you have 2 months estimated and then submit correct readings on the 3rd month , this should put them right. But it won't give you an accurate usage for each month.
It is better to submit them every month, but as I said, if you miss a month, PP will just estimate.
By the end of the year hopefully PP will be offering smart meters to everyone, so you w9nt have to submit readings at all. They are trialling the 2nd generation smart meters atm.
