I don't know what steps you've taken or how youve been communicating but here's what you should do.
1. go to help in the app, ask wattbot, type "message the team" explain there and give "closing readings" as you are no longer the bill payer (treat it as Moving Home

2. Contact your wife, she will then need to download the app onto a suitable device and join PP (presumably using her own email address) , she will give her bank details etc.
Eventually you will get a final bill which you can arrange to pay by going HERE
If it's a refund PP won't know where to pay it if you've cancelled the DD
Your wife will then become the bill payer.
(Of course none of this precludes any other arrangements you may wish to make to pay, but the above is the easiest and simplest way moving forward.

To get a non-auto response from wattbot you do need to type "message the team", Also if you aren't comfortable discussing this in a public community there is private messaging (top rhs) @Marc
