    Hi Anne

As this is your first post, welcome to the Pure Planet community! You are talking to your fellow customers not directly to Pure Planet here.

Woz is absolutely right, no need to tell Pure Planet about your solar panels. As long as you had your system commissioned and an MCS certificate issued on or before 31 March 2019, you have until 31 March 2020 to apply to a FIT licensee for accreditation.
N.B There is an official statement saying that number of new installations that can receive support under the FIT scheme each month is capped – known as a deployment cap.
The deployment cap will still apply and would need to be sufficient space in the final quarterly deployment cap (Jan – March 2019) to accommodate an installation’s capacity – if not, it would not be eligible for FITs support.

If you had your MCS certificate issued by 31 March, choose your FIT payer from this list: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/environment...ontact-details

    Best of luck
    Stephen

  • hi Anne
I'm not sure why PP need to be informed as they don't do Feed-In-Tariffs, you have to go to a different supplier for the FIT, but you can stay with PP for your energy contract. (there are quite a few on here who do that)
Have they fitted a meter to measure the exported amount?
You might find THIS article interesting
I don't have solar energy myself but perhaps someone else can help you a explain how it works with the metering.
