  • Marmite Jonny, none of that Aussie rubbish that tastes like beer 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮😂.

    It’s marmite all the way for me, OMG truly adore the stuff! Eat straight from jar, put it in almost every single meal I make! It’s soooooooooooooo gorgeous! Ever since a baby, which I guess is the 🔑, but yeah bloomin love it!

  • Recipes

    My signature dish is Mushroom Risotto.
    Takes about 20/25 minutes.

    Recipe for two.
    Take one largish onion, red for preference, and chop finely
    Take one punnet of chestnut mushrooms, or one punnet of button mushrooms, or 50/50 both, and slice finely
    Take 2,3,4 or more garlic cloves to taste and slice finely.
    Take one red, one yellow and one green pepper and dice.
    Fill two shot glasses with risotto rice.
    Prep a saucepan with 1.5 pints of 50/50 chicken/veg stock, 1 star anise and a generous pinch of mixed herbs. Keep it simmering.
    Take a large, deep, frying pan and place on a medium high heat.
    Add a biggish knob of butter
    When butter is hot, but not smoking, add the onions and mushroom.
    Stir, toss, constantly until onions are translucent and mushroom soft.
    Add some pepper
    Add the garlic
    Stir some more
    Add the rice and stir until all rice is coated.
    Add a ladleful of stock and stir. (be careful, this will generate a lot of steam the first time)
    Keep stirring
    Add another ladleful of stock
    Keep stirring.
    Add more stock
    Keep stirring
    Add the peppers (and more stock)
    Keep stirring and adding stock until rice is cooked.
    Serve on a hot plate with shaved parmesan cheese and a glass of wine.

    Just made my paella, don’t wish to blow own 🎺but it’s truly beyond delicious 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀OMG no lie!
