Wonder if there are any plans to tie up with the likes of Nissan as Ovo have with the V2G charger. Keen on everything green, so want to stick to pureplanet, but also thinking of getting a Leaf. Would be nice to have it working for the grid as well!

Could you give us a bit more info about what you have in mind?

  • Ovo energy have a tie in with Nissan, Connecting the car to the house on a V2G charger. It discharges spare capacity when needed at peak times and then charges off peak, so results in cheaper charging and the house becoming more ‘off grid’ at times.

Wondered if planet energy would have any similar schemes?!

    Thanks @Knight
We've got a few thoughts about what we can offer EV owners. This is one of them.
Nice one for flagging it up. Is there anything else you'd like to see as incentives from PP to EV owners (or potential owners)?
