will my smart meter work

Hi, I am a new customer & about to switched over tomorrow. I have a smart meter already installed from a previous suppliers. Will PP be able to get these readings automatically? I assume that’s the point in smart meters, having said that it wouldn’t surprise me if every supplier uses a different one.

You're talking to fellow PP customers on this forum, and as such we don't have access to customers accounts. But we will help if we can.

If you have smart meters from a previous supplier link/smets1 upgrade:

It takes a couple of weeks for PP to get the meter info but they will definitely communicate with them over the next few weeks especially if they were communicating with old supplier.  A lot of people think it happens same day as switch if only things were that simple but unfortunately their is a bit of delay in getting all info and making sure it matches but I wouldn't worry it will change.
