Why am i being asked for meter read when smart meters have just been installed?

Hi @Walkerpat85 ,

If your meters have recently been fitted, the meter details might not have reached PP yet, it can take a while, meantime as advised above, you need to continue sending your readings until your statement says that your readings are smart

I can't find the post to quote the exact wording used, but Pure Planet’s advice used to be to supply them with manual readings until you receive statements on which the meter reading says ‘Smart.'

This is presumably because Pure Planet don’t receive the reading direct from the meter. Readings are I believe sent to https://www.smartdcc.co.uk/, who then provide access to your registered supplier.
