I do not wish to have a smart meter installed. Can I still sign up with Pure Planet for my energy supply?

Hi @Mike28 and welcome to the Community.

You can still join up with us at Pure Planet. I take it you can still provide meter readings with the meter you have? If so, take a look and the link below to join up and let me know how you get on!

Hi @denners and welcome to the community! Smart meters are only technically smart if your current supplier supplied the meter themselves. If this the case?
You can still join Pure Planet, but for now you'll need to submit readings to us yourself. However, we're working on a national rollout programme to get all our members onto the latest meter technology free of charge. Have you asked for a quote with us yet?
I'm moving to you but have a smart meter from another supplier (SMETS1).
Is there a list I need to be on to get a new SMETS2 meter or a meter that works with PurePlanet ?

Hi Dozer and welcome.
No list to join, PP are waiting till the 2nd gen smart meters are ready to go and once they are will auto roll out to any member who want one.
Hi @Dozer302
Welcome!
Nice one for posting 🆙 @Jon1 is spot on. Here's some more info about the rollout
Hope that helps?

I've just switched from utilities warehouse with a smart meter. What happens with my readings for pure planet now?
Let me ask if I understand this thread correctly. My old meters should still be able to furnish you with a reading even though I have a smart meter from a different supplier?

Hi kez.
Sorry your current smart meter will go dumb when you switch and you will need to submit the readings manually.
