Hi @RayHogg

Welcome to the community!

Have smart readings started to appear in your PP app?

Tap on usage and choose ‘meter reading history’

smart meters can take readings half hourly, daily or monthly,

My smets1 doesn't work with PP just yet, so unsure on the account set up for these

Have you checked in your usage tab to see previous reads?

Are you able to see reads on your IHD?

Could always pop them a message to check,

@RayHogg

They will stop asking you to send readings and the reading designation on the statement/app/online will show it was a smart reading.

Thanks woz/Mightymidget

I never used my IHD that I’ve had since ????

I have put new batteries in its connected to the meters.

If I select Electricity history it reads “total 4.95kwh from 00:00”

So something is working.

If I go to account it says type in your vend code.

To answer woz  I keep getting messages to take a reading, although was told I only needed to do this once, and then the meters would work, and the app says estimated.

Yes! Reads 25 Jul - 24 Aug

447.8kWh Elec

55.8kWh Gas

But I think that was my startup reading

hi @RayHogg

ignore the ihd for the moment it will only confuse the issue- if you take readings they need to come from the actual meter not from the ihd (and by the way the gas reading from the meter will be in cu.m not in kWh).

If readings are required you only need send in readings once a month, a day before the statement date is best, and even if you don’t send  it will eventually catch up when/if readings work.if you have a smets2 meter PP must think you do? it should eventually send readings automatically.
