Smart meter issue with DCC in north of England

Good morning,


Back in February, having had a smart meter installed, but not commissioned, I received this email from Pure Planet:

We're sorry we weren't able to fully complete your Smart meter installation during your last appointment. There is an issue with communications between your comms hub (the device that sits on top of your electricity meter) and DCC (the company that manages the Smart meter network). This is an issue specifically affecting certain areas in the North of the UK, and we're assisting DCC in finding a resolution, as this an issue that affects all energy suppliers.

I still haven’t had an update about this - does anyone know if it’s been resolved?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

This hasn’t yet been resolved, it’s still an ongoing issue. We’ll update you when we can, although it still appears to be a while off. Thanks for your patience with this, I appreciate it’s far from ideal.
