Yes, smets2 meters will work. They won't work straight away, but after some configuring they will.

@ianmjohnson I wouldn’t rely on it (the ihd) working, lots of people are having problems.

I certainly would not guarantee that it will work, or work as it did beforehand.

The meter should migrate over after a short time.

There was post somewhere about tariff info not being migrated to the ihd, but I can’t find it. @Nataly can you remember where that was? I think it was you.

Hey @woz 

That’s correct for SMETS1 (first-generation) smart meters - the IHD info should all update successfully for a newer, SMETS2 meter :slight_smile:
