I had smart meters installed a couple of months back but I'm still being asked to provide monthly meter readings. I thought this would do away with the need for readings.

You're talking to fellow PP customers on this forum, and as such we don't have access to customers accounts. But we will help if we can.
Sometimes it takes a while for everything to settle down and connect properly after the installation ..
But after a little while, the meters will send the readings.
But in the meantime keep sending your readings.
Same thing happened to me but it worked after a few months.
