i am sorry but i cant read smart meters

plus my gas meter is low down and as i am 73 my hip and left knee hinders me  from getting low enough to try and read the meter

No need to worry, have you joined the priority register? Fill it in and say you need PP to read the meter for you.

If it’s a fairly recent smart meter the chances are PP will be able to read it remotely, but if not they’ll arrange a meter reader to call.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

Spot on advice from @woz here - signing up for the Priority Services Register would be a great way to get your meters read for you. 

When logged in on the app or our website click your account icon and then hit ‘Register for the PSR’, you’ll then be able to fill out the form.
