We have some community news! Pure Planet is happy to welcome a new knowledge specialist to the team.
Introducing @Al O who has recently joined us. He'll be looking after all the info we communicate to our Members. This includes the community's FAQs and WattBot, our app's virtual assistant.
I'll let Al introduce himself to you guys here.
(BTW there'll be another community team klaxon in a couple of weeks! Exciting!!) ;)

Great to be here, thanks @Marc for the intro.
I’ve recently joined the team at Pure Planet as Knowledge Specialist and I’ll be making sure that our information, such as the community FAQs and advice we give to Members in WattBot, is up to date and easily understood.
These are exciting times to be working in renewable energy, especially with the rollout of smart meters and the uptake of electric vehicles. :)
I’m looking forward to working on the community FAQ’s and developing WattBot’s brain! I’m hoping that community Members will be up for helping me out when I’ve got questions and want to show you my latest ideas.
I’m really happy to be part of the renewable energy mission and to be working for PP. Although I’m only a few days in, I’ve already been amazed by the commitment and energy (pun intended!) of our Members in the Pure Planet Community.
Outside of work, I’m a dad to two amazing daughters who have much more energy than I do! Any spare time I do have is taken up working on the house and garden. I’m a really keen DIY’er which is lucky as I have a never-ending list of jobs to-do. I’m a huge advocate of re-using things and buy (nearly) everything secondhand. I’m also a keen freecycler and have also been known to acquire useful-looking things from skips on occasion.
Little known fact: back in 1988, at just 12 years old, I appeared on TV promoting the benefits of electric cars. Literally years ahead of my time! I’m pleased to see my message has finally been heard!

Hi Al, Congratulations on your new and exciting position. All the best!
Well hello AL O. knowledge specialist.
Welcome to the community and hope you enjoy it as much as we all do.
Now as for the job title hmmmm i take it that its open season to test the knowledge. Hopefully it is I.T. knowledge and not the fact you used to be a london black cab driver.
Hi @AI O,
Welcome and congrats on your new job. We look forward to your new thoughts about the Community.
Fab read, Al 👍! Well done on the new job 👏👏👏👏, hope you’ll love the work, and also this community 👍

Thanks so much for the warm welcome guys!
@Jon1 I can confirm it's I.T. knowledge rather than London knowledge! Although I love studying maps, I don't hold a driving license so I would certainly fail the cabbie test!
