I am currently in the States moving to the UK end of June but my husband is already in the UK. I am trying to set up an account with Pure Planet but can't download the app as I have US store. Can it be done another way? thank you!

Welcome to the community and look out for more customer member advice as you are not communicating with PP directly, although they set up and manage this forum.
Why not ask your husband to down load the APP from the UK end and I guess the device needs to be UK active if thats the word. Have you attempted downloading from a UK App Store.
Once you or your husband have the APP then revert back for more feedback as and when needed.
In the mean time utilise all the tools available including all the FaQ's.

The app can only be downloaded from the uk app store, you may be able to change this in the setting on your phone and app accts, however it would be a lot easier for your husband to set the acct up initially, or wait a while as a web based version is coming next week. This may work from the states.
Once you have the app on your phone i can confirm you can use it while stateside.
If it's Android you can only change your country once a year <--so caution is called for.
Best to wait until you get here if husband can't do it (it only takes 17 days to switch)
If you want the account in your name ask hubby to register with his email and your name and simply change the email address on the ac when you get here. You can run the app on any suitable device concurrently so once you download the app on your device when in the UK you can control the account.(as long as you have access on that device to the email address used when a/c registered in order to log in -email could be forwarded)
