Just to let you know we’ve got an updated version of your Pure Planet app.
Version number 7.19.1 has some cool new features. :D
This new version of the app includes:
A new home-move form
If you’re moving home, go to Menu > Account and you’ll see a new button called ‘Move out’. Tap on this to tell us when you’re moving home.
The app will ask for the date you’re moving - the calendar shows up to two days in advance. This is to make sure we get accurate final meter readings.

Then the app will ask for the postcode of the property you're leaving, and confirm the house number. And then it will ask for a final meter reading, plus a forwarding address so that we know where to send your final bill.
Nice one @Jon1 for giving us great feedback on getting this up and running :muscle:
Ability to change your Pure Planet account email address
Go to Menu > Account > Edit contact details and type in your new email address.
We’ll confirm this with you by sending an email to the new address and to your old email address.
Note that this won’t change your community email address. To keep your same community username, you’ll also need to update your email address in the community settings.
To change your community email address, tap or click on your avatar, scroll down to Settings > My account > Edit email and password. Then type in your new email address, type in the new email address again to confirm it, and tap on ‘Save Changes’. Here’s a full guide.
Ability to toggle between electricity and gas usage
We’ve improved the layout of the section of the app which shows how much energy you’ve used each month.
Instead of showing both electricity and gas usage in one graph, we’ve added a way to show both, or just electricity, or just gas. This means you’ll see a more detailed view of each fuel.
Shout out to community members @schase @Gray4276 @Strutt G @woz who’ve been asking for this in our testing and feedback section. We’ll be looking into adding scale to these graphs in the future, too.
Expanding text box in WattBot
Ah, this one's good. As you type a question for WattBot, your app’s virtual assistant, the field which you type into will expand as you type.
That’s it for now. Head to the App Store or Google Play to download it the latest version of the app. (Remember it can take a few hours for the latest version to appear in the App Store for everyone).
Thanks as ever to those who make app suggestions in the community, as well as flagging any bugs you've spotted. :raisinghands::up:
17-04-19, 14:07MarcPure Planet app update - 7.19.1 has new home move form, change email address, better usage graphs
The graphs are now much better! In addition to the promised scales, another helpful feature would be to have the years demarcated (maybe with even just a bold vertical line), so that those of us who are flummoxed by J A S O N D J M A M J J A etc. could more easily read the charts.
Lots of great improvements @Marc
I like the changes to the Usage Graphs.........but.........the actual graph does not follow the readings. The gas graph (for example) goes up or down but not in relation to £/kWh.......for example a reading of £55 is showing significantly lower than a reading of £53 etc.
Great first attempt.....but needs "tweaking".......onwards and upwards.
Are you talking about 2 readings where the £/kWh are the same? If so I understand your point but of course the £ is not relevant, it's the kWh that's supposed to be plotted.
App is still travelling to my place via B roads, must be Easter traffic, it's not arrived yet...
My mistake you're correct.....the graph does display kWh and not cost......however my comment still stands it goes down from 2204 to 2255 and not up as it should do......maybe I'm being picky....don't know
I've decided it should be a bar chart with true readings in one colour and estimated in another because the bits in-between are made up anyway..
And since it has no scale it's meaningless.
until I get the new app, I may have a glance..
Can you that do notifications? I dont seem to get them?
After some discussion and feedback about the usage graphs, I've posted an explanation of how they're plotted in reply to @talldave here which you may be interested in having a look at :checkmark: (@stephenrand @woz)
And of course if there's further feedback/opinion you can always jump in to the convo.
Apologies. What I meant was that rather than load the app everytime can we not get notifications?? Similar to BG app or BBC app??
Notifications are planned for a future release, but no news as yet. Have a look at the thread below?
