My bill has ‘energy used (01)’ and ‘energy used (02)’ for the same time period (2nd July - 1 September). Why have I been charged twice? I now have an astronomical bill of £177 for two months of electricity!!

@Georgiagordon

Is the bill for 2 months not one month? If so it’s a consolidated bill. and if so I suspect the £177 covers 2 months.

This also seems to indicate that you have a dual rate meter

Energy 02 will be your night rate readings and Energy 01 your day rate, can you have a look at your mpan on the statement and see if it starts with 01 or 02?

Are the readings estimated?

Do you know if you have a 2 rate meter? Is it a smart meter?
