When do I send future readings please for the following months?

I have had my first try of reading my smart meter 1.  On electric meter the first reading that shows is 6045.3   and on gas its coming up with Volume 3243 I hope that these are correct

log into the app or log in online and click the  ☰ menu there you should be able to submit.

If you received the request by email for opening readings you should be able to reply to the email (or you could do not sure if it’s changed) What does the email say if it is an email?

hi @holyhead26 

The screen should say something like tot.imp ( total import) for electric and kWh, the gas can say meter index or similar and should say cu.m. Only looking at the last bill you had from whichever supplier would show if they are feasible but I’d say you very likely have the correct numbers.

If you do have to send readings you could send readings whenever you like (once a day) but don’t as there is no need to .

You’ll get a reminder 3 days before your statement date. You should submit before the statement date within the 3 days or if you want to be at the most accurate on the 3rd day. If you submitted on the day you got the reminder your statement would show 2 days after you’ve submitted as estimated. If that bothers you (it shouldn’t as it makes almost no difference to your statement) then wait until day 3 and no days will be estimated on the statement but you risk missing the deadline and if you did the statement would be entirely estimated but will be corrected on the next month when you submit in time.

Gosh it sounds way more confuzzulating  than it is, just submit when you get the reminder or diarise the day before your statement date and submit then.

Please use the app or website as suggested. It’s very straightforward. That way Pure Planet know it’s you sending the readings — not say holyhead25.5.

Your duplicate post is over here too. Once is usual enough then you get all the answers in one place.

Each month we’ll email you a reminder that it’s time to enter your readings - you can then log in to your app or purepla.net, and select ‘menu’ > ‘send a reading’. That makes sure they’re registered against your account, in time for your monthly statement. Hope that helps!
