Has anyone else been ignored when asking about increasing their monthly payment? Then to be hit with a suggested payment scheme to pay off your debt which is a substantial amount more?

Hi there

As this is your first post, welcome to the Pure Planet community!

It's a little difficult to answer your question without a little more information.

So it might or might not be helpful to explain things you may already know:

Usually monthly payments are originally fixed on the basis of historic usage figures supplied by the customer.

Every six months Pure Planet review a customer's account and advise if they think an adjustment of direct debit payments is necessary.

In October every customer is switched to the winter payment, which is 50% higher than the summer payment.

None of this may be relevant to your post. How did you ask PP to increase your monthly payment? If you 'message the team' via Wattbot you should have had a reply.

Is it possible that the communication you have had from PP is the result of their six-monthly review?

Just a thought.

Finally, if they have suggested a new direct debit payment schedule that you will find difficult to pay, then you should get in touch and explain this.

Hope this is some help
