The bank holiday weekend’s weather forecast has made me happy today! We’ve taken the plunge and have booked a few nights of camping… fingers crossed the weather stays good to us.

No argument here, it was ready mixed mortar from b&q, just needed to add water, sorry. 👍🤣

Fortnight, I mean two week, er too weak, it’ll crack in no time. Post back an update in a few months… 😉

Writing without thinking! From the BBC News site:

“Boris Johnson will request more time to evacuate people during a G7 meeting on Tuesday.”

Must expect a bug.

That is gorgeous Ange but this is truly too spooky now!

Butterflies are getting rarer yet I had the same land on my bedroom tv this afternoon! Cupped it gently in my hands and put it safely out the window. Flew into the sunny trees. Gorgeous it was.

Awwww, lovely @Bev . Lovely creatures, have to protect them ❤

Bosch telescopic battery hedge trimmer bought May 2020 has become very weak and stalls on small stems. Thought oh no need to buy a new one. However, thought I’d price up a repair.

Visited https://repair.bosch-diy.com/gb/en/onlinerepair/diy/repair/ and filled in a simple form and they will come collect and repair it under 24 month warranty! Nice!!

I love Bosch! 😊

Nice one @25 quid 👍

Took my 82 year old Dad to hospital for an operation this morning.

Have to say I was more than a little worried,  but he's through it and ok, thankfully. 👍

Good news. Was it our local hospital on the hill where they used to hang people?  We oldies call it by its old name and not it’s current posh University one,

Naw, not that one @G4RHL , Sunderland hospital

Ah that’s good to hear Ange. Not only the stress of the operation at that age, but also the worry of Covid, so nice to get him home again safe, I bet.

A quote I believe from the Daily Telegraph:

Commenting on a complaint from a Mr. Arthur Purdey about a large gas bill, a spokesman for North West Gas said, 'We agree it was rather high for the time of year. It's possible Mr. Purdey has been charged for the gas used up during the explosion that destroyed his house.'

I always check the small print @G4RHL . Cause as you day, sometimes they day they're gonna include something but they don't. I've found that alot.

Also if I take put a policy, I always call them a month or so down the line and ask them to cancel the automatic renewal and confirm they have done so  . Saves a phonecall the next year 👍
