No meat

I would never preach re going vegan, but maybe, like a lot of my friends and family are starting doing, is increasing their plant based eating, and having โ€œNo Meatโ€ days. Have to say tho, the feedback is theyโ€™re really liking it, so increasing the days they do it, and finding theyโ€™re enjoying it, and saying they feel happy that theyโ€™re able to DO something positive towards helping the planet ๐Ÿ‘.ย

With you @Bevย - instead of going vegan we really cut down our meat and dairy consumption a few years ago. Cheese is probably the hardest to give up, hence weโ€™ve not gone vegan, but we found replacements such as the barista oat milk is delicious (it lasts much longer and froths up nicely if you like your cappuccinos ;) and the quorn mince is a greatย substitute in bolognese etc. : )

Do you know what our Aunt? Cheese is the one and onlyย thing that stops me saying Iโ€™m 100% vegan. Iโ€™m 99% plant based, but eat veggie cheese. Vegan cheese ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ.ย

Iโ€™m sooooooo into the Innocent Hazelnut milk at the moment, just for drinking cold like, itโ€™s not for hot drinks. Itโ€™s sooooo lovely as not sweet, nothing artificial, even got seaweed in for calcium. Mainly spring water and rice. Proper gorgeous.ย

Iโ€™m also sooooooo into the Quorn VEGAN chicken slices. They did vegetarian ones for years, but these vegan are new, and so so so much tastier! Keep having a cheeky sliceย from the fridge every time I go into the kitchen ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘.ย

Quiz folk - no preaching, just encourage various ways, simple ways, in which they could help the planet, a lot of people WANT to do their bit once you start chatting, they just donโ€™t realise how.ย
