Another great innovative idea from Pure Planet - addressing real people’s concerns!
I see what you mean Bev - perhaps Jamie Redknapp is having to ‘moonlight’ to keep his income above his fathers.

I'm a bit late to the show  but I have worked with stepchange in helping people with debt.

They are invaluable & worth their weight in gold!

This is great that PP are getting involved.

Now more than ever people are suffering with fuel poverty.

👍

Thanks for the feedback here @Mightymidget

Yep, Stepchange are a really great team. My personal view is you’re right, more people are going to struggle due to the Covid-19 impact.

Spot on Marc!

The government have made so many plans to help people, (some not so great) like breaks on mortgages, self employed grants, 80%wages during furlough,

I dont think enough has been done to help people with fuel costs, I mean let's face it its not something you can do without.

Quarter billed customers I guess have it a wee bit easier, but they still have to meet a dd payment, and reducing the cost for a period of time is just putting them in debt, (one thing we aren't allowed to do on one hand) and paygo customers often calling in as need a top up & no cash funds.

Companies are out of pocket & while some might say they are worth millions, not for long if they arent getting the money in for the energy being supplied.

*sigh* be glad to see the back of covid for all sorts of reasons
