Moving into my first home


I am due to move into my first home on the 1st August. When do I need to start my switch with you? Now? Or the 1st August?

 

Also, do I need to contact the current supplier that the previous tenant is using?

Hi

You can start the switch now, if you wish. As it takes 17 days to complete the switch, you should be moved in by then .

You will still need to pay the current supplier from when you move in until you come on supply with PP. 

Personally, I would wait till you move in, just incase something unexpected happens which affects your moving in .

Make sure you take readings on the 1st day you move in, so you only pay the old supplier for what you have used.

The old supplier will contact you with regards to any outstanding payment due.

The Community is separate to your energy account - to enter your meter readings, please head to your Pure Planet app, or log in at purepla.net, and select ‘send a meter reading’. 

Posting your readings on the Community won’t add them to your account. 

I’ve also replied to your direct message with your readings about this 

We also have more info on how to send your readings in our FAQs which may help  .


You need to use the app, or log in at purepla.net, and inform Pure Planet.

Take photos of the meter readings before you leave.

Wait until tomorrow to see if the server error disappears?

Please try logging in at purepla.net and see if you can use the move out section?

Are you able to use help and support in the app men and send a message?

Please post back.if you are still having difficulty.

I did get server error all morning today but that was just to get into the community itself.

You do know that you will now be a customer of whoever supplies your new property? 

Pure Planet won’t move with you. If you want to stay with PP you’ll need to switch in.
