Meter serial number not on national database?

I have been emailed by Pure Planet to say my electric meter is not on the national database but my current supplier is saying it is. How do I switch? Who is correct?

Has the meter been changed and if so when?

Double check with your current supplier and make sure they have the number that’s written on the physical meter, if they come back and say it is registered then give those details to PP and ask them to double check. 

Could there be any multi occupancy confusion (flats etc.?)
