Now its not very often you get to say that,but tesco in partnership with VW are planning on installing 2500 free to use charging points for EVs at their larger stores over the next 3 years.

Ha I was just writing a new thread about this too @Jon1 :D

Apparently the new EV charging points will be installed at 600 different stores around the UK.

No detail yet of which types of chargers but I do like the idea. Makes sense that EV owners can top up while doing their shopping

Well according to sky news app it will be:-
2400 7kw pod point network chargers free to use.
100 50kw pod point chargers on a pay as you go basis.
But yes good news indeed and surly will force other retailers to adopt a similar scheme.

Yes, kind of, we look at changing the car every 4 years, 2020 is the 4th 🙂
