The Pure Planet Community has thousands of Members posting daily.

If you’ve posted in the Pure Planet Community and you’re looking for your old posts, the first and most important thing is to make sure that you’re logged in.

Then, just click/tap on your avatar photo in the top right-hand corner of the community  and you’ll see a list of your latest activity. It’s divided into your posts, replies, best answers, posts you’re following, your private messages, and your settings. Each has a number count, too.

If you select ‘Posts’ you’ll be taken to a list of all the posts where you started a new conversation. Selecting ‘Replies’ shows your replies.

You can choose to view your posts by recently active, most views, or most replies.

You can choose to view your replies by oldest or newest first.

Hi @Marc - is it possible for users to change their ‘default’ setting to view comments? It appears to be that the oldest posts are shown first by default, and I must admit I find that a little misleading at times especially as some of the conversation threads are over a year old and may not have been commented on for weeks/months.

I appreciate people have different viewing preferences and understand that you can switch to view ‘most recent’ comments, however, if you then contribute a post to a conversation (when in ‘newest first’ view) thread reverts back to the default ‘oldest first’ view which is a little frustrating.

Hello @myauntie

is it possible for users to change their ‘default’ setting to view comments?

I wasn’t 100% sure but looks like no, you can change to newest first but the default is oldest first.

The thinking is that it provides the context of a thread.

Maybe raise it as an idea in our community ideas board and what other Members think, too? If there’s a lot of requests for it, we could def look at some tech development work.

Thanks for checking (and getting back to me) @Marc - I wasn’t aware of the ideas board, will add the suggestion there :)
