Why are there estimated readings on my bill?

Just received my bill and I can see the reading I took on the 22.8.2019 but they is also a estimated reading on the 24.8.2019, I took the reading as soon as I received the email asking for the meter reading so not sure why they is a estimated reading a few days later?

As this is your first post, welcome to the Pure Planet community!

You'll find lots of posts here asking the same question!!

Your statement will come every month and it will always show an estimated reading for the date of your statement, so that the monthly comparisons stay accurate.

The simple way to avoid it (not that it matters much) is to send in your meter readings on the monthly statement date - in your case the 24th of each month.
