Hi,

So sad that Pure planet is no longer in business. Shell is the new supplier however the tariffs are very high. Can we switch to another supplier or are we stuck with Shell?

Once we have moved over it may take a while you are free to move. However, not many suppliers are taking new customers on.

@Redhill

Until our accounts are up and running with Shell, we are stuck, however all suppliers are now charging the same capped variable tariff, and fixed deals are for the moment not recommended due to the high costs, with some even advising that you should stay with your present supplier

There's no point looking at all the fancy fixed (expensive, not available anyway) tariffs. @woz has posted the tariff we are all being switched on to its Flexible 6 (SR). The capped variable version Shell have that is pretty much identical to all other suppliers and can't be beaten at the moment.

Note that there's no dual fuel discount like PP had, and with hindsight probably shouldn't have! 🪙🪙🪙
