Hi,

I have jut switched away today and I cannot access any of my customer and billing information on the website. Last time I accessed the site a couple of days or so ago I was in credit by over £400. Does anyone know how I find out if PP will refund this credit and when?

As I have now left I have no access to contact anybody at PP, even no access to WhattBott.

@IWG1972 It takes up to 6 weeks from switching for your final bill then you will be refunded. Often shorter, sometimes longer...This is the industry standard not PP trying to keep your money.

Your DD may still be collected during this period (all companies not just PP), if you cancel it they won’t be able to refund until you give bank details so best not to.

Thanks Woz that article is really helpful, shame I wasn't able to easily get hold of that. So if I’m right I could have to wait up to 8 weeks and have 2 further DD’s taken at £177 each before I get my refund!!

Didn’t know it was an online piggy bank aswell. Any who I guess I’ll have to wait up to 8 weeks to find out if I’m going to be refunded something and I’ll make sure I have an extra £380 in my bank account over Christmas, just so you know, PP might need it. Oh and no access to any CS or any account info as my online account wont let me access it.

I found this article helpful and boy I’ve learned a lesson...

Hey @IWG1972

I just wanted to jump in here and add that following an app update this week, you’re now able to log in and view your energy statements and balance if you’d like to   (you just need to be sure to have the latest version of the app installed!).

Whenever you switch to any supplier it can take up to 6 weeks for your final bill, that’s due to an Ofgem-regulated system that verifies your readings and makes sure you don’t end up paying for the same energy twice - more info on that here , too:relaxed:.
