There are so many numbers that come up while l am taking photos of the metre in a crunching position it’s confusing as to which set of figures to send, l was with OVO energy who fitted the metre, but it seems they are transferable to other energy companies, Alan

hi Brushead
A crunching position? That sounds very painful...

You don't say which meter.

For the electric meter (that's the one with big wires coming out of it) you're looking for a screen that says tot. imp. with a number (example 12345) kWh -( tot.imp means total import. kWh means killowatt hours)

For the gas (that has pipes coming out of it) you're looking for cu.m or index cu.m (cubic metres) again followed by a number which may look like 12345.67 cu.m ignore anything after the decimal point (dot)

The meter won't yet send it's readings to PP, it will be a while before that happens, so I'm afraid you'll be crunching for a while. You don't need to submit photos for your normal readings, but I assume you're doing that to make it easier rather than writing while crunched.
