Probably teething problems, there are quite a few issues affecting communication especially in North.
Also it takes a while from install to get everything registered and up and running.
It would probably help you and PP if you can submit readings once a month for a while until issues are resolved.
later edit due to Angela's post, above only applies if meter fitted by PP.
If fitted by anyone else above does not apply, readings should be submitted until meter is updated or replaced
