I sent a meter reading but it includes an estimate

Hi, I sent a meter reading when blue planet requested one. When I received the bill  my reading was on but they have gone off a higher estimate reading. Is this the normal for blue planet billing?

If you send your readings before your statement date, Pure Planet will estimate the few days between these dates

as said and to offer another reply (although the first reply is good…)

Yes it’s absolutely normal  for Pure Planet (not sure about blue planet though, you’ll need to ask them). You’re billed to a specific date (your statement date)

PP don’t know how much energy you’ve used at that date unless you submit your readings exactly on that date, so if you submit a few days or more before that date they estimate the remaining days from submission to billing date. It matters not as it will correct on the next reading.
